Independent community initiative / at the beginning

Building stronger communities through practical action

The Peace Project brings people together to develop practical initiatives that improve everyday life, strengthen communities and create opportunities for people to contribute their time, skills and experience.

We are starting with achievable projects, measuring what works and building from there.

01 / What is the Peace Project?

Good intentions.
Practical action.

People can achieve more when they work together.

The Peace Project is an independent community initiative built around that simple principle.

We want to turn good intentions into practical action.

Our projects are designed to explore real-world ideas in areas such as affordable food, sustainable living, education, technology and community support.

We do not claim to have all the answers. Instead, we aim to bring together people with different skills, experiences and perspectives to develop ideas, test them responsibly and learn from the results.

Founder introduction

Why the Peace Project Exists

A three-minute introduction to the idea, the projects and the principles behind what we’re building.

The principle behind the work

“We do not ask people to believe that an idea works. We build it, measure it and publish what we learn.”

Our credibility will depend on the work we do, the evidence we gather and the honesty with which we share it.

02 / Our first projects

Building from
the ground up

The Peace Project is in its early stages. Our first projects are currently being developed and prepared.

Rather than presenting plans as achievements, we will publish progress as it happens — including what we are building, what it costs, what we learn and what still needs to be done.

As projects become active, members will be able to follow their development and discover opportunities to participate.

03 / How to get involved

A place for your contribution

  1. Create an account

Introduce yourself and create your Peace Project profile.

  2. Verify your account

Email and telephone verification help us maintain a genuine and accountable community.

  3. Become a member

Choose the contribution level that is appropriate for you. Every standard contribution level provides the same core membership.

  4. Participate

Follow projects, contribute ideas and skills, volunteer where opportunities are available and take part in the development of the community.

04 / Our approach

Start small.
Learn. Improve. Build.

BUILDthe idea
MEASUREthe result
LEARNfrom it
IMPROVEwhat works

Large ambitions only become credible when they are supported by practical results.

For that reason, many Peace Project initiatives will begin as small projects or prototypes. We can then examine what works, what does not, what it costs and whether an idea can responsibly be expanded.

Success should be demonstrated rather than simply promised.

05 / Transparency

Trust should
be earned.

As the Peace Project develops, we aim to give members meaningful information about the projects they support.

Where appropriate, this will include project expenditure, progress, results, challenges and future plans.

For eligible commercial projects, our aim is also to make the financial position understandable.

06 / Recent progress

We are at
the beginning.

We believe it is more credible to show progress as it happens than to present future plans as completed achievements.

There are no published project updates yet.

The Peace Project is in its early development stage. Updates will be published here as projects move from planning into practical work.

We will distinguish clearly between proposals, prototypes and active projects so that you can see exactly what stage each initiative has reached.
